Target complete management buy-out for Interaction

Target Corporate Finance has played a key role in the management buy-out of Bath interior design and fit out company, Interaction.

As part of the deal, directors Hayley Blacker, Robert Parkin and Gary Duguid have acquired a stake in Interaction and will run the business alongside founder and Managing Director, Paul Haskins.

Paul has led the firm's development from its initial start-up in 1989 to a £10 million turnover business, employing 24 staff. The Widcombe Hill-based firm is recognised as one of the UK's leading office fit-out specialists, with clients including The Body Shop, South West Water and Helphire Group.

The buy-out follows Interaction's recent expansion into London and trend-bucking financial performance.

Paul said: "This is a very exciting step in the development of Interaction as a business, which will enable it to develop its presence in the South West and in London".

Bath-based firms Target Corporate Finance and solicitors Withy King acted on behalf of Interaction on the multi-million pound deal.

Tom Curling, Corporate Finance Manager at Target, said: "This transaction is testament to the strength of the company and its prospects. Having established the brand and built up an impressive client portfolio, it is an ideal time for the new management team to take Interaction forward."
